About Lumber Society: Lumber Society was founded in 2013 to bring the community together around getting outside and embracing nature. It's like adult scouts where you earn patches and at the end of the 11 workshops you can test out and earn your Grizz Patch. Knot Tying is the second workshop out of the 11.
Join or Die: That is the Motto of Lumber Society. We believe that if you embrace these skills that Chris Hyde teaches then you'll be more able to survive the first 72 hours of a zombie apocalypse.
Community Outreach Details: All Outreach events are free to attend. Lumber Society hosts one community outreach a month that is aligned with the workshop. Since February is centered around Survival knot tying we partnered up with a local group this month to bring Rope Education to the youth.
