Useful Plants Walk (offsite)

Participants will explore edible, medicinal and utilitarian uses of the local flora while exploring one of Austin's unique and tucked away parks. Join us and learn to decode the wall of green that surrounds us in beautiful Austin, Texas.

Oaks, elms, mesquites, mulberries and cottonwoods … how many trees can you identify? Even more important, how many are you able to use to enrich your day-to-day life? In addition to identifying these magnificent giants we will also discuss the useful properties of these life-giving beings. From tools and food to medicine and art we will explore all the Central Texas area has to offer us.

Limited ticket availability! This class usually fills up fast so be sure and sign up today! Free Buzz Mill drink token and Useful Plants badge with each ticket purchase.
