Lumber Society Archery & Atlatl Workshop

Archery & Atlatl Workshop

Join us for a blast into our past as we discover how to shoot traditional bows and arrows as well as throw the most ancient of all advanced projectile technology, the atlatl.

Long before the bow and arrow, primal humans were utilizing an ancient hunting tool known as the atlatl or atl atl. This incredible arm extending technology allowed humans to propel a long flexible dart with much more force, power, distance and accuracy than by hand alone.

Join us for an afternoon of prehistoric projectiles as we learn to utilize these ancient tools in order to reconnect with our past.

Please bring a pad and pen to take notes! Free drink token and Archery badge with ticket purchase!
