Time: 7pm - 9pm
Workshop: Sewing
Description:
If you're a self-sufficient adult with any talent for working with your hands, your day has come. Learn to sew the patches you earn at the Lumber Society Classes and a few other skills. Knowing basic sewing has the same perks as knowing plumbing, carpentry, or any other mechanical skill: You can fix your own stuff, and save money and time while doing it. That includes clothes, bags, and outdoor gear. Join us for another exciting hands-on class at Buzz Mill!
About Lumber Society:
Lumber Society was founded in 2013 to bring the community together around getting outside and embracing nature. It's like adult scouts where you earn patches and at the end of the 10 core workshops you can test out and earn your Grizz Patch. Homesteading Workshops have yet to be listed in full detail.
Join or Die: That is the Motto of Lumber Society. We believe that if you embrace these skills that Chris Hyde teaches then you'll be more able to survive the first 72 hours of a zombie apocalypse.
Workshop Details:
Homesteading workshops are different than the Core workshops because the focus isn’t on surviving for 72 hours but instead surviving longer than Three Months. Almost all of the Homesteading workshops will cost a ticket to attend but absolutely free for those who only want to take notes.
