Workshop: Primitive Tool Building
Description: When surviving in Mother Nature you can do things the easy way, or the hard way. The hard way would be to not use what is around you to leverage yourself to be in the best situation ... while the easy way is to look around and utilize what Mother Nature has to offer. Making Primitive Tools to get you through the obstacles that the wilderness will throw at you is the knowledge you want to harness. This workshop is crucial because it will help you make your bows faster, build shelter faster, and even make cooking easier. Join us for an in-depth look at how to make some simple, yet effective tools.
About Lumber Society: Lumber Society was founded in 2013 to bring the community together around getting outside and embracing nature. It's like adult scouts where you earn patches and at the end of the 11 workshops you can test out and earn your Grizz Patch. Knot Tying is the second workshop out of the 11.
Join or Die: That is the Motto of Lumber Society. We believe that if you embrace these skills that Chris Hyde teaches then you'll be more able to survive the first 72 hours of a zombie apocalypse.
Workshop Details: All Workshops are free. We do sell perks that can be bought but it isn't mandatory to purchase one. It merely enhances your experience by giving you something to take home.
