Location: The Buzz Mill @ 1505 Town Creek Dr. Austin, TX 78741
Time: 6:30pm - 12:30pm
Workshop: Survival Knot Tying
Description: Join Camp Master, Chris Hyde, of the Lumber Society and learn about knots that can help you in a pinch. Whether it is tying a tarp that has no hole, or you need a knot that can be untied quickly but hold a lot of weight.
About Lumber Society: Lumber Society was founded in 2013 to bring the community together around getting outside and embracing nature. It's like adult scouts where you earn patches and at the end of the 11 workshops you can test out and earn your Grizz Patch. Knot Tying is the second workshop out of the 11.
Join or Die: That is the Motto of Lumber Society. We believe that if you embrace these skills Chris Hyde teaches then you'll be able, hopefully, to survive the first 72 hours of a zombie apocalypse.
Workshop Details: All Workshops are free.
We sell perks that can be bought, but isn't mandatory to attend the workshop. It merely enhances your experience by giving you something to take home.
