Johnny Zachman is a singer-songwriter living in Austin. He is influenced by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Jeff Tweedy and Cloud Cult. He has recently been featured on BrooklynVegan, Do512, Ovrld, ANON Magazine, PlaylistPlay and more. He has shared the stage with Porches, Frankie Cosmos and Frances Luke Accord. He is the winner of The Deli Magazine's Best Emerging Austin Psych / Rock Artist of 2016.

His new album, Outside, was released on Friday, August 18th, 2017. PlaylistPlay describes the album as “frank depictions of intimate relationships alongside intricately composed guitar parts that imitate feelings and environments.” On Outside, “Zachman utilizes looping melodies that build the same dynamism you might experience with a larger band but balanced with the intimate feeling of just one person playing the songs.”
Outside is streaming now on Spotify, Bandcamp and SoundCloud. 

On stage, Zachman builds layers of live electric guitar loops underneath his vocals, creating melodic soundscapes reminiscent of Andrew Bird and Julien Baker.
