Manzy Lowry: Making his way in the footsteps of those who came before him in the Texas music scene, singer/songwriter Manzy Lowry carries on the outlaw tradition, country soul, and Texas pride as simply heard in his music.
The Ballinger, Texas, born songster grew up learning music from his grandmother; this influence followed Manzy through his college days when he was inspired by Jason Boland, Roger Alan Wade, and Zach Huckabee. Lowry picked up a guitar, learned a few chords and began to create music in the style of those he followed. Soon after he heard the tunes of Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt, Manzy began writing songs that tell stories.
Original ballads are trademarks of Lowry’s talent. Rough around the edges and dusty as an old bible left on a shelf for many years – might be a mere idea of the feel for Manzy’s music after a listen or two. His story-songs paint pictures in your mind of particular places in time, and they may just make you feel proud to be a Texan.

Jack Charles + MPIC: Jack Charles’ voice brings a layer of graveyard velvet to complete a sound that is a dark and personal tribute to rock and roll. Jack has a debt with music and has come to pay it in full, with his band Musical Partners In Crime. Their currency: The Ante Mortem Songbook, the singer/songwriter’s opera prima, whose songs, with an alternative retro-rock vibe, are varied in form and channel various influences like surf, R&B and post-punk.
